The Committee met the Secretary to the ministry of justice on 30th January 2012 to discuss a few common matters for which the Secretary responded very positively. Accordingly,

• She said that immediate attention would be paid to the requirements of court houses and chambers especially the court houses in Attanagalla, Matugama, and Kadawatha.
• She further said that for any such issues, she could be contacted directly and also to contact Mr. Kumar Ekaratne (former High Court Judge) Assistant Secretary following up action.
• The Secretary said that she would take immediate action to settle traveling claims for the participation of seminars and workshops from the High Court itself without getting the approval from the Ministry.
• The telephone allowance would be increased in due course, until then she agreed to discussed with the Sri Lanka telecommunication and take immediate actions to reduce the rental from Business class to residential class for official residence telephones. Hence if you are paying rental as business class please send details to us to take necessary actions.

• Official cars of TOYOTA 141 would be given to Supra Grade.
