Benefits to Members PDF Print E-mail

We are pleased to inform that during the past few months we were able to render the following multifarious benefits to our dear members and we hope to provide more in the period ahead:

  • Distribution of the copies of the book “Judicial Conduct, Ethics and Responsibilities” by Dr. A.R.B. Amarasighe
  • Distribution of E-Law CD and dongle
  • Facilitating the members to obtain renewed Identity Cards, Driving Licenses with digital signature and Official Passport

We were also successful in the following negotiations made with the relevant authorities:

  • Allocation of new official premises in the Hulfsdrop to the JSA by the Ministry of Justice.
  • Secretary to the ministry of Justice has agreed to furnish all the official bungalows of the District Judges & Magistrates and to provide a Caretaker to each bungalow.
  • Secretary to the Ministry of Education has assured to grant special opportunities to admit children of the Judicial Officers to leading schools in the respective areas.
  • Identification of available LRC lands to make available to the Judges and negotiations are due for the allocation of them among Judicial Officers.
  • Recommencement of the Computer Training program by Mr. Lasith Devendra.

We are happy to welcome you to our new Website.


We have been silently (yet diligently) working on revamping our website and are thrilled to announce that the renovation is almost done.

This Website has been thought and developed in order to allow everyone an access to a clear and precise information.

With the aim to renew JSA-SL's image and further to the development of our different activities, we have decided to equip ourselves with a new Website which corresponds technically and graphically to the current times.

We hope you’ll take a moment to cruise it and we’d love to hear what you think. There may be a few bugs here and there so please bear with us until it is throughly tested.
